A small group of supporters that fund a dedicated scholarship awarded annually.

Our Scholarship Programme supports outstanding British and Spanish postgraduate students in their academic and professional development.
 
 
Since 2008, our scholarships have helped over 100 exceptional individuals across disciplines ranging from biomedical research and engineering to literature, music, and international relations.
 
 
These scholars represent the very best of our two nations, and many have gone on to make significant contributions in their fields and to British-Spanish collaboration.
 

To sustain and grow this vital work, we are inviting a small group of dedicated supporters to join the Patrons’ Circle with an annual contribution of £800, in a single payment or £67 monthly, eligible for Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer.

Importantly, all Patrons’ Circle donations will be ring-fenced for the creation of a dedicated BSS Patrons’ Circle Scholarship, awarded annually in the name of our Patrons. This ensures your support directly and visibly funds the academic journey of an outstanding scholar.

As a Patron, you will receive:

1. If you wish, recognition on our website and in our annual review,

2. Invitations to exclusive Patron events and cultural receptions,

3. Regular updates from the BSS Patrons’ Circle Scholar whose work you are supporting.
