The BritishSpanish Society is delighted to present The Cheese and Wine of Extremadura, an exclusive evening dedicated to showcasing some of the most outstanding gastronomic products of Extremadura. Thanks to the generous support of the Government of Extremadura, guests will have the opportunity to sample a carefully selected range of wines, cheeses and other nibbles from one of Spain’s most distinctive regions, while discovering more about its rich heritage, traditions and culinary excellence.
The event will take place on 18 June from 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm at the elegant British Council palacete in Madrid (Paseo del General MartÃnez Campos, 31), a beautiful historic venue that the British Council has kindly made available to the BritishSpanish Society for this special occasion. It promises to be a unique opportunity to enjoy an exceptional tasting experience, strengthen ties between the British and Spanish communities, and celebrate the cultural and gastronomic richness of Extremadura in an outstanding setting.
