BritishSpanish Society members are actively engaged in promoting and celebrating all which is culturally and socially interesting and enjoyable about both countries.
The Society’s magazine La Revista is published twice per annum in the autumn and spring. It reports on Society life and events, features articles from prominent hispanists, authors and observers alongside news from members and supporters. Articles are wide ranging covering all aspects of British and Spanish life. Regular features include the arts, travel, education, science and nature, history and popular culture. Each edition closes with book reviews. As a progressive publication the magazine looks to history and explores the future, a foundation linked to the Society’s charitable mission, its annual scholarship awards programme.
Whilst a benefit of BritishSpanish Society membership readership of the magazine extends beyond registered members via digital engagement online and on social media, and extended distribution to selected partners. Each edition of La Revista reaches an engaged audience of 8,000 BritishSpanish readers.
