The BSS and Bloomsbury Institute are delighted to present Giles Tremlett in conversation with Jimmy Burns about Giles’s latest book ISABELLA OF CASTILE: EUROPE’S FIRST GREAT QUEEN, a major biography of the woman who launched Spain on the path to empire and whose reign dramatically advanced the rise of western civilization.
Giles Tremlett is the Guardian’s Madrid correspondent. He has lived in, and written extensively about, Spain almost continuously since graduating from Oxford University twenty years ago
